Buena Vista High School

Principal Shatine Arias grew up in Bakersfield and is a graduate of North High School. She joined the Navy shortly after high school and served 4 years proudly as a Radioman. She has degrees from Christian Heritage College, and Fresno Pacific College. Shastine taught the computer lab, special education, and was a program specialist in special education with KCSOS before becoming a school administrator. She was the Director of Special Education and Student Support Services before coming to Taft. She has been married to her husband for almost 30 years and has three adult children.
